A school built around speaking
Most people who study English for years still freeze when they have to use it. That usually is not a knowledge problem — it is a practice problem. You cannot learn to speak a language in a room where you never speak.
So the school is built around one decision: every class is live, with a teacher, in a small group. Groups are kept between 8 and 13 students. That is small enough that everyone talks in every lesson, and large enough that you hear other people make and correct mistakes, which is how most of us actually learn.
You start at the right level, not a guessed one
Before you pay anything, you take a free placement test. It takes about ten minutes, asks 36 questions, and needs no account and no card. It gives you an estimated level on the CEFR scale — the six-level framework (A1 to C2) used by universities and employers across Europe and far beyond.
Two things follow from that. You are not sold lessons that are too easy, and you are not dropped into a class moving faster than you can follow. If the test puts you in the wrong place — it is an estimate, not an exam — we move you to the right course at no charge.
The test is for placement only. It is not a Cambridge, IELTS or TOEFL certification, and we will never describe it as one.
How the courses are organised
Six courses, one for each CEFR level, from A1 for complete beginners to C2 for near-native command. Each course states its number of lessons, how many weeks it runs, the group size, and the fee — before you enrol, on the course page, with no login required.
Classes are taught live on Microsoft Teams. There is no self-study-only option, because that is not what we are good at.
Working in your language
Lessons are taught in English — that is the point. But everything around the lessons is not. The website, admissions, and support are available in Arabic, Turkish, French and English, so nobody has to negotiate an enrolment in the language they are still learning.
What we will not do
We will not publish reviews we did not receive, student numbers we cannot count, or qualifications our teachers do not hold. If you find a claim on this site you think we cannot support, write to us and we will either evidence it or remove it.
Talk to a person
Enrolment finishes with a conversation, not a checkout form. You send your details, and someone confirms your place, your class time and how to pay — directly, on WhatsApp. If you would rather ask questions first, that is what the contact page is for.
Who teaches here
Our classes are taught by three kinds of teacher, and each is here for a reason.
Native speakers give you the version of English people actually use — the rhythm, the everyday phrasing, and the confidence that comes from hearing it said properly.
International teachers have taught English to learners from many countries. They know which mistakes are common, why they happen, and how to fix them quickly.
Libyan and Arabic-speaking teachers have learned English themselves, from Arabic. They can explain a difficult point in your own language when explaining it in English would only add confusion — and they know exactly where Arabic speakers get stuck, because they were stuck there too.
Every teacher shows us their qualifications before their first class. When we say a teacher holds a CELTA or a degree, it is because we have seen it.
We are new, and here is what that means
We do not have thousands of alumni, a wall of reviews, or an accreditation badge. A school that opened recently cannot have those honestly, and we are not going to manufacture them.
What we can offer instead is everything we do have, in the open: the teachers who will actually take your class, with their real qualifications; exactly how long each lesson runs and how many people are in the room; the full fee before you enrol; a free placement test that costs you nothing and tells you the truth about your level; and written policies on cancellation, refunds and moving you between levels.
Being small is the other half of it. You are not a number in a cohort of three hundred, the person who answers you is the person who teaches you, and if something is not working we can change it that week rather than next term. As we grow we will publish real reviews from real students — and not one before then.
